Welcome to the registration & payment site for CAMP FMES, presented by Franciscan Montessori Earth School / St. Francis Academy.
PLEASE READ THE POLICIES AND INFO BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING:
1. REGISTRATION PROCESS:
To register, go to the CAMP REGISTRATION page here on ejoinme.com. Select your camp(s) from the registration page list and use your credit card to pay via ejoinme.com's secure checkout system. We do not offer cash or check payment options. Be sure to select any Montessori Aspect (Childcare) you'll need for each week. If you're registering for two half-day camps in a single week, select the combination package (rather than the two individual camps) for a $56 savings. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. If you have any questions or difficulties, please use the online summer camp contact form.
2. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that family schedules & other circumstances can change so we offer a refund policy as follows:
A. All refunds requests must be submitted in writing. You may submit a written request to the school office, mail a written request (to Franciscan Montessori Earth School, ATTN: Summer Camps, 14750 SE Clinton St, Portland, OR 97236), or submit a request via our online summer camp contact form. Your written request must include your name, the child’s name, and the name/date of the camp that you’d like to cancel. You will receive an email confirmation within one week of your cancellation being received by the school.
B. Due to the difficulties in consistently filling cancelled spots, FMES charges a cancellation fee, depending on when a camp cancellation is received:
C. FMES reserves the right to cancel any camp or summer child care session or to change instructors from those listed in the on-line catalog. In the case of an FMES cancellation, a full refund will be given to those already registered and paid.
3. HOW TO SAVE WITH A COMBINATION PACKAGE
Take two half-day camps for the price of a full-day camp, with lunchtime supervision thrown in! Choose from our combination packages (see full list here), and your child will automatically be registered for lunchtime MA (child care). You’ll save $56 by choosing a combination package (you pay $250 instead of $150 for morning camp + $6 for lunchtime care + $150 for afternoon camp). (NOTE: You must choose a package during registration/checkout instead of the individual camps in order to receive the discount.)
4. BEFORE AND AFTER CAMP CHILDCARE
CAMP FMES offers childcare (called Montessori Aspect) before, between and after camps. Please see our summer camps Montesori Aspect / Childcare page for more info and remember to reserve your spots when you register for your summer camps!
5. WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING/WEAR
Please check the individual page description for each camp at fmes.org. At the bottom of each page is a description of what a child should wear/bring to that particular camp.
7. DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE POTTY TRAINED
Yes. Children should be comfortable using the toilet themselves.
8. IS THERE A WAITLIST
The online registration page does not have a waitlist option. However, if you’re interested in being on a waitlist for a camp that is full, please use the online summer camp contact form and indicate your interest in being waitlisted. Include your name, your child’s name and age, and the name /date of the camp. In the event of a cancellation, waitlisted families will be notified in the order that the wait list requests were received. Notification will be sent via email and/or phone and you will have 48 hours to register before the next person the waitlist is notified of the opening (we reserve the right to reduce this notice period for cancellations received after June 15th).
9. ARE SUMMER CAMPS OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY (BESIDES CURRENT FMES/SFA STUDENTS)
Yes, in addition to current and enrolling students, the summer camps are open to members of the general public. Registration forms and vaccination records are required for all summer camp participants. Registration for community members commences one week after registration for current students begins.
